Terms of service
Last updated: 31 October 2026
"Tell a Scene", "we" and "us" mean the operator of this service; registered details are on our contact page.
1. The service
Tell a Scene turns a written description into a short AI-generated video with sound. Everyone gets 5 free videos a day; credits can be bought for longer videos and more of them. Videos are made one at a time and the waiting times shown are estimates.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google. You must be 18 or older. Keep your account to yourself; you are responsible for what is made with it. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
3. What you may not make
No sexual content; nothing involving minors in any harmful or sexual way; no videos of real, identifiable people without their consent (including public figures); no content that harasses, defames, threatens or discriminates; no election or political deception; no content that promotes violence, terrorism or illegal acts; nothing that infringes anyone's rights. Our filters block some requests automatically, and we may remove videos and accounts that break these rules.
4. Your videos
You may use the videos you make for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these terms and the law. Videos are AI-generated: say so when you publish them, and don't present them as real footage. We may use anonymous usage data to improve the service.
5. Credits and payments
Credits are prepaid units used to make videos (5-second video = 1 credit, 10 seconds = 2, 15 seconds = 3). They do not expire, have no cash value and cannot be transferred. If a video fails, its credits are returned automatically. Payments are processed by Razorpay. See the refund policy.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service running but cannot guarantee it is always available or that every video will match your description. The service is provided "as is".
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
8. Changes and law
We may update these terms; continuing to use the service means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
